Salman Bohlouli

I’m Salman Bohlouli from Iran. I was born in a small village in Markazi Province, and I now live in Isfahan. I began my photography journey in 2022 at the age of 34. Although I started relatively late, photography quickly became an important part of my life and a way to express how I see the world

The main idea behind this photograph was to capture a quiet moment where stillness and life come together. The branches of two trees created a natural frame that immediately caught my attention. I waited for hours, hoping a bird would fly through the open space between them. When that moment finally happened, I pressed the shutter. To me, the image expresses how a brief moment of life can transform a silent winter landscape into something meaningful.

I wanted to show the contrast between silence and movement. The winter landscape feels still and quiet, while the bird brings life to the scene. I hope the photograph encourages people to slow down for a moment, reflect, and find their own meaning in this simple scene

I enjoy photographing nature with simple compositions. I like to be patient and wait for the right moment rather than taking many random shots. My goal is to create photographs that are simple, natural, and meaningful.

I really enjoy nature and wildlife photography. Being outdoors gives me a sense of peace, and I love observing animals and natural landscapes. Through my photography, I try to show the beauty of nature and capture moments that people might otherwise overlook.

I don’t have one particular photographer or artist who has influenced me the most. I enjoy looking at the work of photographers from around the world to learn, find new ideas, and improve my own photography. I believe there is something to learn from every photographer.

Believe in what you are doing and have confidence in your work. Don’t be afraid to participate in international competitions, because every experience helps you grow. If your work doesn’t receive an award, don’t lose hope. Keep learning, work harder and smarter, and continue creating. Every competition is an opportunity to improve.
