Sharp Focus

I was spending time in Everglades. I was impressed by number of birds, especially herons, and their close proximity. So, I took a chance to take a picture of a heron in close detail, showing the structure of its feathers and the sharp, elongated bill used for hunting.

Drifting Giants

“Drifting Giants” presents a series of photographs created during a sailing expedition to Antarctica, exploring the scale, presence, and slow movement of icebergs. The work is shaped by traveling on a small sailing boat, allowing for a close and direct encounter with the landscape. The atmosphere of the images feels both intimate and vast.

Mask

I wanted to take a photo of an indigenous woman selling masks in Panama’s Casco Antiguo. She allowed me to take the photo, but when I rise the lens, she felt embarrassed and put the mask on her face, creating a spontaneous moment.
