01 Who can participate in the Golden Shot Photography Awards?
Professional and amateur photographers from around the world may participate, provided they read and follow the competition rules.
02 How many photographs can I enter in one series?
A series contains at least 2 and no more than 7 photographs. All images must share a theme or concept and one title.
03 How do I know whether my submission is complete?
Incomplete or unpaid submissions are not eligible for judging. Check the entry status in the Member Section under Entry History.
04 How should I submit my photographs?
Complete the online form, select the categories, upload the photographs, and complete payment.
05 What specifications should digital files have?
Images should use sRGB, be JPG files no larger than 3 MB, and measure between 1000 and 2000 pixels on the longest side.
06 What are the Golden Shot entry fees?
Single Entry: $25. Series Entry: $35. Additional Categories: 20% OFF.
07 What is the Golden Shot competition schedule?
All competition dates follow the schedule announced in the official call for entries.
08 Can one photograph be entered in multiple categories?
Yes. The same photograph may be entered in multiple categories. Each additional category receives the configured discount.
09 Is there a limit to the number of entries?
No. You may submit as many entries in as many categories as you wish.
10 Can I submit a photograph that has won another award?
Yes, unless that photograph has already received a Golden Shot prize.
11 Can I change an entry after payment?
No. Paid entries cannot be altered, so review the work carefully before payment.
12 Is judging anonymous?
Yes. Judges do not see participant names or personal details while judging.
13 What does the overall winner receive?
The overall winner receives the configured cash prize, the Golden Shot Trophy, and the Photographer of the Year title.
14 What do category winners receive?
Category winners receive the awards and recognition listed on the official Prize page.
